Gemini Replaces Bard

As of today, Bard is considered dead. Google just launched Gemini Advanced, featuring the powerful Ultra 1.0 model – their largest and most advanced AI to date. Independent testers even ranked Gemini Advanced as one of the most advanced and fastest language models in the world.

More advanced: Powered by the Gemini family of models, including Pro 1.0, Gemini boasts superior reasoning, planning, and understanding capabilities.

Larger dataset: Trained on a wider range of text, code, images, and audio, Gemini possesses a broader knowledge base and understanding of the world.

Better at complex tasks: Gemini excels at tasks like coding, logical reasoning, and creative collaboration, thanks to its advanced architecture.

Trained on a vast and diverse dataset, Gemini possesses a deeper grasp of the world than ever before. It can interpret information with subtle nuances, ensuring its responses are both accurate and insightful. It’s also worth noting that Gemini has a context length of 32K tokens.

If you own an Android device, you may either download the Gemini app or opt in for an upgrade via Google Assistant. iOS users may just download the Google app, which will now contain Gemini. This allows you to launch Gemini in the same way you use Google Assistant: by pushing the power button, swiping from the corner of the screen, or shouting “Hey, Google!””

Finally, Google is introducing a premium service called Gemini Advanced. This is part of the Google One Premium AI PlanIt combines the benefits of the existing Google One Premium Plan, such as 2TB of additional storage, with access to Google’s most powerful model, Gemini Ultra, for the first time.

It’s worth noting that Bard has been rebranded as Gemini, so the distinction between the two is no longer relevant. The current interface and functionalities are those of Gemini, offering both basic, pro, and advanced or ultra features.
